Welcome From the Chief Executive

We are delighted you are interested in joining the Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) as our Chief Financial Officer. We hope you find our microsite informative and comprehensive.  

It is an exciting and complex time for the organisation. We are working hard to deliver a change programme that rises to the genuine skills and productivity challenges employers, governments, learners, and apprentices worldwide face. We want to ensure our qualifications, assessments, centre and learner services, and programmes are fit for now and are set to deliver for learners in the future. We also want to ensure we are in the very best place to respond to the vocational and technical qualification reform programme, including T-Level delivery and apprenticeship assessment in England, plus being able to deliver the skills and qualification initiatives of other UK and international governments. All of this is combined in providing qualifications with our “heritage sectors” of Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing, Barbering and Complementary Therapies whilst also setting out to expand our services in Early Years Education, Functional Skills, Health and Social Care and Logistics.

Our new CFO will be at the forefront of that innovation, thinking and investment as part of the Corporate Leadership Team. Accountable for the financial strategy and the commercial activities of the charity, our new colleague will lead on driving revenue, financial and operating performance.

We aspire to be the most responsive Awarding and Apprenticeship Assessment Organisation we can be, delivering for our over 100,000 learners annually and 3,000 training providers worldwide. We seek to adopt an enterprising, commercial outlook set firmly within a charitable mission of advancing education for the public benefit.
